Junior Designer

As an integral part of BLITZ's world-class creative team, you will design, produce and update important visual assets for high profile online media and websites.  Must have a keen sense of design and creativity.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working with Creative Leads and Project Managers to develop a wide variety of online, video, and multimedia projects

• Assisting with break-up and optimization of visual assets for final development

• Creating comps based on existing design direction

• Integrating high quality animation for site builds, rollovers, transitions, etc. for both Flash and video

• Contributing well developed ideas during brainstorms and conceptual meetings

• Generating storyboards that outline animation and/or motion graphics

What you’ll need to do it:

• Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, & Flash

• Knowledge of After Effects, InDesign and 3D applications a plus

• Ability to interpret wireframes and bring our UX to life

• Attention to detail and good personal time management

• High level experience with Flash break-up and optimization techniques

• Comping and animation experience

• Ability to work independently when provided with direction, while also integrating into a team environment

• Solid written and verbal communication skills

• Outstanding interactive/online portfolio, with 2-4 years working in the interactive space or equivalent education experience

• Great attitude, ability to work in-house, and willingness to learn
